The First Date

The first date can lead to something that is magical. Many people have certain things they do every time they have a first date, a routine of sorts. Its the adrenaline that runs through your body, giving you butterflies in your stomach, making you feel nervous, that help make this an experience that you will never forget.

Nerves, “a whitish fiber or bundle of fibers that transmits impulses of sensation to the brain or spinal cord, and impulses from these to the muscles and organs.” Now this definition doesn't quite explain how it feels to have this happen. Your stomach flip flops, your knees get weak, a million thoughts of how the night is going to go running though your mind. These things effect your first impression, or the date in general. Its intimidating, more so than actually going on the date to begin with.

Feelings are so hard to understand at the exact moment in time. But there are times when you just know this is a person you want to be with and feel things grow with. The touch, the feel , your heart beating a million times a minute. As we take that last look in the mirror to make sure we look perfect, which to yourself you're still not happy with it. (at least for us women) Confidence and determination of hoping this date goes as well as you want it to. So many things are running though our heads that it will make you spin.

Now some first dates do not go as planned or expected. Its something we all live though. Something we all experience. It can be heartbreaking, it can be wonderful, something unexpected or surprising. But its something we all want to go though. The rush of what could be or might be. First dates are honestly the most terrifying experience we have as human beings. Sometimes we are stunned by it all. Where we went, how it played out, or even how it ended. It can leave us wanting more or wanting less. That is why its so unpredictable.
A first date is a moment in time that will stick with us forever. Something we base all other dates on. The possibilities are phenomenal, taking us down paths we have been down before, or new ones we have yet to discover. Something we look forward to or want to put behind us. Its a chance we take.

First dates are the beginning of a new path. Its yours to take, and yours alone. So I wish you the best of luck on your path. And as always hope you find your happily ever after.

Happily Ever After...

Once upon a time there was a boy and girl. They met and fell in love. They wanted to have a truly amazing wedding to share with their family and friends.

Family and friends alike, waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle. Weddings are an event in which you experience love, laughter and friendship. An event you can attend only knowing the bride or groom. Yet you can hear and share stories about the happy couple with others and it can become a complete experience. Once you attend a wedding your whole perspective on life and love is changed.  So next time you're at a wedding just observe and experience what a wedding truly is.

As always may you find your happily ever after.
